Hello! Right, I am being very naughty again as I missed one day yesterday :) However, I am back to it today and that's what matters!  So it is day 23 and I got one week left!!! Hopefully I will manage to stick this week out, I think if all I had to do is just to put my feet in, have a relaxing 15 minutes, I probably wouldn't have missed a day but having to do a blog post which means taking pictures and writing which I enjoy, but sometimes a whole day is not enough for everything. The other soak I did the other day for muscle pain for my tired legs did help me wonders I even forgot I had it until now than I am reflecting on my previous soak. I am not hanging around the bushes today and again using one of my really luxurious bath hearts with dried marigold which is great for the skin and has anti inflammatory properties. This week even I haven't been doing foot baths everyday day however as much as I did I feel quite relaxed and grounded I am sleeping well so definitely I can see benefits from it.
30 Day Challenge - Day 23

What I am finding it hard is to do is to take a decent photos for this challenge as I am doing it in the evenings everything just don't seem right but myself I prefer to read something with pictures so I am still taking them for my blog :) and I think it will be nice to look at them in a years time and say oh yeah I did this and that and it look like this and that and this is what I love about blogging but hey it's needs all new article about it :)

Happy soaking!

Little OOTD details - Pins

HI LADIES! I just wanted to do quick blog post on very trendy items at the moment PINS. I personally love this trend! All my life I liked pins and now it is trendier than ever so many cool young artists out there it is very exiting times for pins - they are cute they playful they are trendy! I wear my pins like broaches which is great and with the right pin I feel like I can bring outfit together with tiny little detail and still look good! I love these pins from INKBERRYPRINT they are all so cute I got three of them! This trendy cactus pin I think it's my favorite at the moment as I have the love for plants in general and have cactus at home it's like my own special way of expressing my love to plants. As we know fashion is an expression of lifestyle and personality.

30 Day Challenge - Day 21

Hello I was planning to do some sort of special soak for valentines day but that went through the roof as I have been very busy all day and then the evening came we ate our £20 meal deal from M&S witch was delicious and for yesterday I don't really have an excuse yep sorry no excuse! Anyway I am looking forward for my soak tonight as it's getting prepared right now! I have been on my feet all day literally all day as my phone shows I walked 15 km which is great however my muscle sore now and I am making a soak to sooth it:)

Rosemary essential oil is great for muscle pain unfortunately I do not have one and I don't know why it is definitely on my next shopping list! But what I do have is Rosemary in my garden which I am using today :) So I cut quite a generous amount of Rosemary  and put hot water over it and left it to soak for 15 -20 minutes to get the benefits out of it water become quite green as well. And I added some more cold and hot water afterwards to make it more comfortable. Rosemary is great  ache and pain  it also has some antidepressant affect so it is great to relax.

Rosemary soak recipe:

  1. Bunch of rosemary
  2. 1 table spoon of salt
  3. half of tea spoon of coconut oil
  4. 5 drops of chamomile essential oil

30 Day Challenge - Day 21

Chamomile and rosemary blends very well together. Apparently in numerous sources Rosemary it's great for the brain so I guess if you are the student it's something to use on a regular basis. More about oils for muscle pain you can read HERE. And if you like to read more on rosemary essential oil you can do it HERE.

30 day Challenge - Day 18

Hello! I got 12 days left to go! Feels crazy as my challenge started getting closer to the end. Today my sinuses feel completely cleared which is great. As I loved yesterday's soak so much I am going to have exactly the same:) However as tomorrow is valentines day I am thinking of something special and maybe make a foot soak for my boyfriend as well as a present :)

Soak recipe:

  • half a tea spoon coconut oil
  • 1 table spoon of salt
  • 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 5 drops roman chamomile essential oil
  • 5 drops frankincense essential oil

  • This soak felt delightful and I also had amazing night sleep. I woke up refreshed I think I started feeling health benefits from the soaking my feet.  Blood circulation feels really improved and it's definitely been good for my mental health as I kind of put myself in to the position where I have to do something for myself and spend some time in peace, as before I used to have hectic job and I find it hard to relax and I was keep thinking about it after work. And my feet are becoming so soft and smooth, literally 20 years younger haha :D

    Happy Soaking!
    Happy Valentines Day for tomorrow

Hello! So it is day 17 on my 30 day Challenge. 13 days left to go! Yey! I am getting closer to the finish line. However, I skipped 3 Days. I was going to skip only one day as I became ill and it's not good to have a soak than you have a fever, but then my busy schedule took over for another couple days and here I am after missing my 3 days. I feel like it's a nice treat to go back to foot bath routine. What I have noticed is that normally when I get ill it takes me a lot longer to get over it and I feel a lot worst than it did this time and I suspect is due to feet soaking which has loads of health benefits and I am happy to go back to the routine to restore my immunity system.

Today I actually made such a devine foot bath. I used:

    1. half a tea spoon coconut oil
    2. 1 table spoon of salt
    3. 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil
    4. 5 drops roman chamomile essential oil
    5. 5 drops frankincense essential oil
It smells so great and coconut oil makes it so luxurious. I always use tiny, tiny amount of coconut oil as it can get greasy. I am using salt for detoxifying properties, eucalyptus essential oil to completely clear my sinuses as it's good for respiratory infections, chamomile essential oil is great for good night's sleep and last but not least frankincense essential to boost the immunity system. Frankincense oil is amazing it's one of the best essential oils to have by hand, but personally I prefer it's scent mixed with other essential oils simply because I am not a fan of it by itself but my favorite combination is with chamomile at the moment. More on frankincense essential oil you can read HERE. And about strengthening your immune system you can read it HERE

Hello! Today I got some inspiration for my 13th day out of 30 day challenge. I got myself a foot lotion with raspberry cream macaron! It made my day. It says on the front ''Love yourself and indulge your body and senses,'' this is exactly what I am doing here! I had a 10 minute soak in salty water as salt has loads of different uses and helps with fatigue. It also has antibacterial properties so it's amazing for people wearing shoes all day. Apparently it helps to improve sleep quality so I am definitely in for a good night sleep. You can read more about salt benefits HERE, Very quick blog post tonight I feel quite sleepy after soaking plus I have early morning tomorrow.

Hello Lovelies! Its day 12 of my challenge. So far I managed to stick with it :) For some inspiration I went to local boots, unfortunately for me there was nothing interesting to use for today's soak. I was thinking of getting some buffer or brush  but again I did see anything that inspired me today, maybe I am just in that kind of mood. So I decided just use my own thing again even I am happy to try new things out :)
For my day 12 I am using one of my bath bombs which I call Acne Bath Bomb (eventually will be on my Etsy store :) ) I call it acne bath bomb as I specifically design it for my boyfriend to calm his acne as it's very nourishing with anti inflammatory benefits with organic jojoba and dried Calendula. Jojoba oil is one of my favorites for the skin, it's good for all skin types it's amazing! If you like to read more about jojoba oil you can do it HERE. And Calendula is so good I have been using it since my childhood! You can reed more about it HERE
    30 Day Challenge - Day 12

I make my bath bombs heart shape as I am making with love and they look cute as well just easy on the eyes! :) Today's soak was very luxurious with organic jojoba oil and I felt like I treated myself very well today. I would only put 1 in the bath but today I use it whole for my feet and it feels super smooth now and I also feel relaxed and nourished!

    Valentine's OOTD

Hello as I been soaking a lot these days with my foot bath soak challenge :)) I decided to come up with OOTD for one of the loveliest days of the year Valentines Day! As I noticed dominant color for the occasion is red and this year I decided to turned it down more like white like a bride kind of thing (joking). White top and silver skirt makes the outfit almost look coordinated, I am wearing cool little mushroom pin from inkberryprint as a detail because I did not wanted to over crowd my OOTD .

Hello! So It is my day 11 and I got 19 days left getting closer to my final day! And I kind of started making new plans for my future challenge, it's definitely going to be a lot harder than this one though :D:D haha.  As it is Monday I like to keep things nice and simple as always so today I am just going to use soap. I just used this a couple of days ago and for extra relaxation I added 5 drops of lavender essential oil to help me with a tension headache which has been lingering around for couple of days. To be honest in the past I did not really like the smell of lavender oil but now I am the biggest fan! But I do like to mix it up with other essential oils and the gentle tea tree oil soap from Mistry's will do the trick. I love the soap the way it is but I am just adding essential oil for immediate aromatherapy properties as in aromatherapy best results are straight from the bottle if you know what I mean :)
    30 Day Challenge - Day 11

Okay I should do a little health update as I have been doing soaking for 11 days now. My legs feels lighter even I walk same as I did before everyday as I walk to work and back plus my active dog, shop, friends you know the usual stuff. So it has been great for me. Another thing I noticed I think my circulation slightly improved as before I couldn't walk around the house without socks at all now I can for a short amount of time which is nice and when I put my socks back on haha :) I have been having headache for couple of days now but I did felt a some sort of relief after I did my soak yesterday.

Anyway I will be off to shops soon to get some new inspirations for following days so watch the space :)

    Happy soaking!

    30 Day Challenge - Day 10

Hello. Today I nearly missed out on my own challenge as I simply forgot from having such a busy day at work. I know it's Sunday, however I work shifts and Sunday's the busiest day of the week for me. And after I got home I worked all day and talked after work about work so it is obvious I have been in working mode and than suddenly it clicked that OH! I got my challenge, which is nice it gave me something else to concentrate on and I am grateful for that to myself, even I thought for 10 minutes that I might miss it today. Challenges can't be all straight forward but I pulled myself together and did it! It is such a simple thing but still can be hard to stick with it.
And today as I am tired and and have a headache and just want to relax a little I decided to use essential oils to help me with the headache. There is few to choose from however I decided to use the ones I have and know help with headaches and relaxation which is lavender and eucalyptus essential oils. So I am just using exactly same mix as I did it before in one of the days :)
    1. 1 table spoon of baking soda
    2. 1 table spoon of cider vinegar
    3. 3 drops of lavender essential oil
    4. 3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
More about essential oils and headaches you can read HERE. And as for me I will just sit back and relax and enjoy my soak!

Hello lovely people! It is my day 9 for foot bath challenge, 21 days to go! Great! Only 3 weeks left. In the past I always wanted to blog more, I was thinking to myself I should do like 2-3 blog posts a week but it rarely happened as i didn't find time for it, but as 2017 approached i realized I have so many ideas, but they are all just pilling up in my head. This challenge is proving to me that I can do so much more and I can make my ideas happen no matter how crazy it is! Look at me 9th blog post in a row I feel really proud!!! Today I woke up at 4.30 in the morning to go to work so you can imagine how sleepy I was the rest of the day haha :) I was lacking a little bit of motivation to get things done however I was looking forward to put my feet in nice warm soak. After 8 days self and feet care I kind of feel summer ready just waiting for that sun to shine through the grey clouds.

    30 Day Challenge - Day 9
And as for today I am using for my soak a simple soap from Mistry's I have been a fan of  their natural organic and gentle products for few years now.  I am using a tea tree oil soap with vitamin E. So it is gently antibacterial due to tea tree and vitamin E has basic antioxidant properties and is very good for the skin; it can help with wound healing so if you have any blisters it's great to use product with vitamin E. During all my 9 day soaking emotionally and physically I felt relaxed and having that home spa pamper everyday is giving me some sort of grounding if that makes sense. The more I am doing it and the more I am enjoying it. And I think my body circulation gently improved as I haven't been as much cold as I normally am.

Hello. Here I am starting my second week with a bang haha :)  8 days done 22 to go. As I wrote 22 days left it kind of imedetally felt like the target is reachable and that I am getting closer! It is definitely a nice feeling and I love the process of this challenge as well. I was looking for some inspiration today for the scrub and I came across black lava salt, which I have never heard about before, but turns out it contains charcoal (luckily for me I have it in my cupboard) :)

Since childhood in my family we have used activated charcoal for upset stomachs. And now I put in a foot scrub to help remove toxins out of the body and gently to exfoliate the skin.
    30 Day Challenge - Day 8

Charcoal Foot Scrub (Messy, messy, messy)

    1. 2 table spoons of rock salt
    2. 2 capsules of activated charcoal (opened)
    3. Coconut blend spray. I used one I use for cooking as I find it is a nice blend with sunflower oil and rapeseed oil
    4. 5 drops of Melissa Essential oil
    30 Day Challenge - Day 8

I just mixed it all together and viola! I sprayed oil a few times until the charcoal and rock salt became moist. OK, this is the messiest foot bath I ever made :D:D:D !!! I gently rubbed my feet with the mixture but it had no bonding in it and just kept on falling into the water. In the end it just became a soak and it became very clear that the charcoal with the mixture was sticking on my feet! OH NO! I had soaked it for about 10 minutes and I had to wash it of in the bath. Apart from that my feet feel the softest after this soak than the others I don't know if it is because of the weird combination or because it has been 8 days since I am doing this! Would I do this again? Yes, but just in the bathroom due to how messy it is! This is the blog I got some inspiration for the charcoal from, you can find it HERE. And if you like to read some more about activated charcoal you can do it HERE.

    30 Day Challenge - Day 7

Hello! It is day 7 for my foot soak challenge for better well-being for myself. Hooray! It has officially been a week! It feels a little strange as time has gone by so quickly, it just shows that if I want to do something and get somewhere I just have to do something even it is a small thing. And this is what my own challenge is helping me to see; that I need to do more contracts with myself for myself so this soak isn't about just relaxation it is also about me doing something for myself.

As I have been very busy this week for a change it is my day off and the weather behind my window is awful, dark grey and wet. So it is nice to keep myself nice and cosy inside with hot chocolate and writing this blog being in my own little space and having a foot soak :) I read this blog recently about being alone is not the same as being lonely and I can totally understand that as I cherish quiet time by myself in silence as it doesn't happen very often. I will put this lovely blog post if you like it to read for yourself HERE.

    30 Day Challenge - Day 7

As for my soak, today as I am resting I will use my pre-made bath bomb ''Soother.'' I called it Soother as it contains very generous amounts of mango and shea butter and makes the skin extra smooth. But it's Soother for it's combination with Melisa essential oil which has loads of amazing health properties from helping with depression to fighting common cold, cold sores, infections and also has anti inflammatory properties. It is pretty amazing. More information on Melisa essential oil at this linkHERE

    30 Day Challenge - Day 6

Hello! Here is my day 6 and yesterday and today I had some conversations with my friends and family about my challenge. My friend said to me oh you will need to think of something new everyday have you got so many ideas? haha NOPE! I clearly haven't thought this through, I should have challenged myself for a week and that challenge would be nearly over :) oh and my boyfriend said that to challenge myself for 30 days foot soak was crazy (I guess thanks for your support sweet heart)! NOT! However I will do my own thing like I usually do so I am going to go with my own flow :)

So today I have been on my feet all day again and on the way from work I actually thought to myself how nice it will be to put my feet in nice bath. So soaking is clearly is growing into my daily routine which is nice. As once it will be a routine i wont need to make time for it:)  So for my day  6 I decided to keep things nice and simple as I normally do and use one of my hand made bath bombs 'White Delight'' with lavender and patchouli essential oils. It will be back on my Etsy shop once I am ready to return as I took holiday from soap making and I just got caught up in my routine but I have plans to return:) I started to think that was crazy but in the same time lovely idea to challenge myself to do something for myself. You guys should join in challenging yourselves in well-being as well :)
