Made To Do More

As 2018 is fast approaching have you started thinking of your New Year resolutions? It always bugs me that question: what I am going to do with my life? And that feeling that I must to do more is always there. I just found out that 64% of people who live in Brighton are entrepreneurial minded. Wow, that's a lot and it is the lead in the UK! YOU GO BRIGHTON!!! I can't say that I am very surprised as I know quite a few people who have started working and creating businesses for themselves. Mainly artists and creative people (proud friend :)). I guess the more people you know who have done it the more inspiring it becomes to do it yourself. You can do a little quiz HERE to find out more about yourself. My results: All Rounder which means flexible. I am happy with my result as that's what I thought of myself :)
Made To Do More

Who reads my blog and my twitter knows my struggles with my job...and my wish for myself and others for 2018 is to be a little braver, know your worth and be able to stand up when you are knocked down! I really wish myself to figure out what should I do as I want to be in happy, calm work environment. I wish for all of us to be in a happy fulfilling space doing whatever we want to do, as life is short we should enjoy the journey we are on. You can read inspiring blog post Are you made to do more? HERE. To be honest I believe I am made to do more I just need to grab the opportunities which come my way. I always support people with ideas as trying things out is the way to move forward. We will never know how successful we can be if we won't try things out and things which don't work out take it as a lesson for the future. It is still a positive thing :) .

I hope this blog post will inspire you to make a happy journey for yourself.

Making It Special - Mulled Wine

Yesterday my blogmas was about female health which I think is very important. However, today I decided to relax a little more into Christmas and have a little Chrismasy spirit in the house. I have to admit I never prepare for Christmas in advance. There are a few reasons for that: number 1 is I don't really have time for it. I am sure someone would say how can you can not have time for Christmas?! Well, I work full time. Next I don't really like to prepare in advance; for me it's more special to start getting ready in December. The longer I wait the more precious it becomes:)  And I love the smell of mulled wine and all the spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. It gives that instant lift in the house. I am sure everyone does it it slightly differently. I just do it in my own style, the same style I cook: I put a little bit of everything :))) I used whole nut meg, cinnamon, cloves , cranberries, forest honey, 2 oranges and red wine and it turned out yummy :) I actually remembered last summer than I thought of having some mulled wine and that I said to myself that I must wait for holiday season! lol I am glad I did! In the meantime Hazel decided to rip apart  Christmas paper table cloth and make herself a bed out of it :))

Female Health Do Matter- Period Survival Kit and a product review
Hey! It's not a long wait until Christmas and I want to start my blogmas. However, my posts won't be all about Christmas and I most likely won't blog everyday, but you will definitely see more of me this month. YEY! I had this blog post in mind for quite some time and to be honest don't even know where to start talking about period pain and mood swings and  in general wanting to stay in bed all day. Personally I believe all women should have 3 days off a month just to deal with periods! I normally get all the symptoms from pain to one minute I am laughing and the next minute I am crying... I have been taking painkillers few days a month for many years and I just figured that surely it can't be healthy plus extra medication if I get a cold or flu or a headache...putting it this way it sounds like a lot of medication over the years and I am sure many girls and women are in the same boat. I always thought there must be a way to survive couple of days during period without painkillers. I have tried many different things over the years. One of them was hot water bottle which worked to some extent, however you can't keep it on belly for too long as it can get too hot and can't really regulate the temperature of it... So one of the best things came a long in my life was electric blanket! My number 2 on survival kit is organic hygiene products from Organyc. I didn't knew I don't like and actually hate all the scented supermarket bought products until I used natural and Organyc is my favourite so far from natural products I have ever tried in female hygiene.

Female Health Do Matter- Period Survival Kit and a product review
My third find is amazing! My cramps normally are so bad that I can vomit from pain or even faint so when I found something natural I thought I would give it a go. But to be honest I did not expect anything from it at all as I know herbal stuff we need to take for long period of time and I didn't think that it would help me with strong pain. I found A.Vogel Agnus castus oral drops in the health store. It is a little expensive (I think I paid around £11) but I would buy it again and again!!! It says the product is used to help relieve premenstrual symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, breast tenderness, bloating and menstrual cramps. First time I started using it it was back in September. I thought I would give it few months before I actually review it. September was first month i didn't take painkillers during my period. I still had pain but not something I could not manage and my breasts were bigger but not tender. Mood swings weren't so bad as normal. I feel very sorry for myself and moan to my boyfriend and he would tell me to go to have a nap :). Anyway, I started taking the drops days before my period as soon as I started feeling cramping and I was so surprised and impressed! I have been using it ever since. I can't say I don't feel the symptoms or feel 100%.  I still get headaches and cramps and tiredness and mood swings where I don't know what to do with myself and have taken an odd painkiller.  However, I feel a major improvement during PMS and I can't recommend  this product enough! I understand that it might not work for every woman but I think giving it a try is definitely worth it. And what is better present for yourself than feeling good?  I think Its important staying healthy and happy over Christmas and all year round!
