Made To Do More

As 2018 is fast approaching have you started thinking of your New Year resolutions? It always bugs me that question: what I am going to do with my life? And that feeling that I must to do more is always there. I just found out that 64% of people who live in Brighton are entrepreneurial minded. Wow, that's a lot and it is the lead in the UK! YOU GO BRIGHTON!!! I can't say that I am very surprised as I know quite a few people who have started working and creating businesses for themselves. Mainly artists and creative people (proud friend :)). I guess the more people you know who have done it the more inspiring it becomes to do it yourself. You can do a little quiz HERE to find out more about yourself. My results: All Rounder which means flexible. I am happy with my result as that's what I thought of myself :)
Made To Do More

Who reads my blog and my twitter knows my struggles with my job...and my wish for myself and others for 2018 is to be a little braver, know your worth and be able to stand up when you are knocked down! I really wish myself to figure out what should I do as I want to be in happy, calm work environment. I wish for all of us to be in a happy fulfilling space doing whatever we want to do, as life is short we should enjoy the journey we are on. You can read inspiring blog post Are you made to do more? HERE. To be honest I believe I am made to do more I just need to grab the opportunities which come my way. I always support people with ideas as trying things out is the way to move forward. We will never know how successful we can be if we won't try things out and things which don't work out take it as a lesson for the future. It is still a positive thing :) .

I hope this blog post will inspire you to make a happy journey for yourself.

Making It Special - Mulled Wine

Yesterday my blogmas was about female health which I think is very important. However, today I decided to relax a little more into Christmas and have a little Chrismasy spirit in the house. I have to admit I never prepare for Christmas in advance. There are a few reasons for that: number 1 is I don't really have time for it. I am sure someone would say how can you can not have time for Christmas?! Well, I work full time. Next I don't really like to prepare in advance; for me it's more special to start getting ready in December. The longer I wait the more precious it becomes:)  And I love the smell of mulled wine and all the spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. It gives that instant lift in the house. I am sure everyone does it it slightly differently. I just do it in my own style, the same style I cook: I put a little bit of everything :))) I used whole nut meg, cinnamon, cloves , cranberries, forest honey, 2 oranges and red wine and it turned out yummy :) I actually remembered last summer than I thought of having some mulled wine and that I said to myself that I must wait for holiday season! lol I am glad I did! In the meantime Hazel decided to rip apart  Christmas paper table cloth and make herself a bed out of it :))

Female Health Do Matter- Period Survival Kit and a product review
Hey! It's not a long wait until Christmas and I want to start my blogmas. However, my posts won't be all about Christmas and I most likely won't blog everyday, but you will definitely see more of me this month. YEY! I had this blog post in mind for quite some time and to be honest don't even know where to start talking about period pain and mood swings and  in general wanting to stay in bed all day. Personally I believe all women should have 3 days off a month just to deal with periods! I normally get all the symptoms from pain to one minute I am laughing and the next minute I am crying... I have been taking painkillers few days a month for many years and I just figured that surely it can't be healthy plus extra medication if I get a cold or flu or a headache...putting it this way it sounds like a lot of medication over the years and I am sure many girls and women are in the same boat. I always thought there must be a way to survive couple of days during period without painkillers. I have tried many different things over the years. One of them was hot water bottle which worked to some extent, however you can't keep it on belly for too long as it can get too hot and can't really regulate the temperature of it... So one of the best things came a long in my life was electric blanket! My number 2 on survival kit is organic hygiene products from Organyc. I didn't knew I don't like and actually hate all the scented supermarket bought products until I used natural and Organyc is my favourite so far from natural products I have ever tried in female hygiene.

Product Review

Female Health Do Matter- Period Survival Kit and a product review
My third find is amazing! My cramps normally are so bad that I can vomit from pain or even faint so when I found something natural I thought I would give it a go. But to be honest I did not expect anything from it at all as I know herbal stuff we need to take for long period of time and I didn't think that it would help me with strong pain. I found A.Vogel Agnus castus oral drops in the health store. It is a little expensive (I think I paid around £11) but I would buy it again and again!!! It says the product is used to help relieve premenstrual symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, breast tenderness, bloating and menstrual cramps. First time I started using it it was back in September. I thought I would give it few months before I actually review it. September was first month i didn't take painkillers during my period. I still had pain but not something I could not manage and my breasts were bigger but not tender. Mood swings weren't so bad as normal. I feel very sorry for myself and moan to my boyfriend and he would tell me to go to have a nap :). Anyway, I started taking the drops days before my period as soon as I started feeling cramping and I was so surprised and impressed! I have been using it ever since. I can't say I don't feel the symptoms or feel 100%.  I still get headaches and cramps and tiredness and mood swings where I don't know what to do with myself and have taken an odd painkiller.  However, I feel a major improvement during PMS and I can't recommend  this product enough! I understand that it might not work for every woman but I think giving it a try is definitely worth it. And what is better present for yourself than feeling good?  I think Its important staying healthy and happy over Christmas and all year round!

Good things do come by and being in a dark place sometimes we don't see it. Hopefully this post will be a reminder for you and for myself that good things come by; we just need to get through tough times. Normally my posts are all about positive vibes, joy and happiness. But as humans we know that we can't be happy 24/7 and I find it weird that when I am not smiling people ask me what is wrong with me? Well, nothing I am just being neutral! Is this okay to be neutral...? Few months ago I started a new job which I was very happy about, really I went to work with joy but unfortunately that has changed very quickly. I got bullied, I reported it and I been told that it doesn't sound like that person! I moved on and forgave. However, I realised that my colleagues thrive on drama and twisting everything. Joy of going to work ended, constant worry started which is horrible, I think. And then I received Clippers Teas box which contained 3 items: a night note book, bed time tea with amazing blend of calming ingredients, and a cup. It is so sweet and it's exactly what I needed! It just literally hit me that I need some cosy me time, a good nights sleep and sort everything out! Such a small thing made such a positive impact that I realised that the situation I am in will pass and I am strong enough to get through this! And good things do come by, I wouldn't of received box of clippers otherwise. Thank You for positive impact!

Planted - Skin Care
Autumn it's pretty time of year. However we are facing a lot of changes: loosing day light, it's getting colder and colder and a lot of people are ill and spreading their viruses. I have a flu for the past week and I felt a bit better today so I decided to do a whole body pamper. I got four products from Planted: oil cleanser with black cumin and raw honey, nutrient rich face cream, whipped body cream and boosting coffee scrub. I have to say all these four products smell great and are natural just the way I like it. I started with a scrub, it left my skin feeling super smooth. I like all sort of oils and I don't mind products being oily but if you do I  think little goes a long way. While I had scrub on I started with oil cleanser and OMG it is so nice! Its so gentle and light on the skin, felt really good. After I got out of bath after using the scrub and oil cleanser I felt moisturized! After that I tried whipped cream which like a boosting scrub little goes a long way. It nicely melts in the hands before the application. Scrub and whipped cream nicely complimented each other because I can feel nicely moisturized skin all day long. Face cream is amazing just like the oil cleanser is very light on face absorbs well. I didn't need to use primer before I put my foundation on as my face as it felt very smooth. I think the oil cleanser is my new favorite! Lovely products and easy on the eye to display in the bathroom as it looks pretty.

Autumn with Clipper TeasI always love beginning of autumn. Days are lovely, it just that cold crispy air slowly creeping in on us just like Halloween.  Maybe it is just me as I am behind of everything at the moment haha. I saw a girl dressed for Halloween as a witch and I thought no way?! Already?! Anyway I love that cosines of the fall. Throws, candles, hot drinks, films... long lie ins would be great too :)) I always look for healthy, natural boosts throughout the year and Clipper Teas is a healthy way of keeping me warm. And honestly the more I know about them the more I like them! They use unbleached tea bags. Who on earth needs a beached tea bag?! Seriously, bleached?! If not Clipper Teas I would never have known! Seriously, bleach is so harmful why on earth someone would think about bleaching tea bags...?! Anyway, I got four new flavours from Clipper Teas to try and one of the them is Rise & Shine, which is my favourite at the moment. It's with mate, lemongrass and lemon verbena. Actually, at one point of my life quite few years ago I use to drink mate drink with lemon and it was my favorite for a long time! I don't know why I stopped I love this drink and to see it in the Clipper Teas range is really great and I am definitely hooked. And they also have a great selection of organic teas to try and it's always a plus for our environment. I am definitely looking forward to get all the antioxidants from my healthy teas!

I love autum it's a season of transition in a sense that summer is full of idealism and endless possibilities and autumn is the start of the dreams and hard labour for it. All holidays are coming to an end and  that's where the hard work begins. It is a very special season there is loads of colours around and days are pretty, but in the evening you can feel that cold and crispy air there, you kind of want to snuggle up in blanket with a coco and watch Netflix.

Recently, I have been mentioning quite a lot about wanting to do a Charity Shop Haul. This is not it. However I found this amazing stripy shirt dress in the charity shop and it was love from first sight. I just fell in love with the colour of it and if it wouldn't of with me this blog post would be DIY how to make something else as I would of bought it anyway. I might have to change my blog name soon to a charity shop gal as I got so many amazing items in there and more blog posts to come with the pictures of the outfits:)

Thanks For Reading

Sporty Summer Outfit

As I mentioned before I am newly born fan for high waist trousers and jeans. I just find it so comfortable to wear no more lifting after bending over, no more worries. These trousers are quite weird in a seance that they look pretty smart before I put them on after I put them on they look of some sort of material and straight leg leggings. I think it depends with what I will be wearing them with. I found them in a charity shop and originally they were from next. Recently, I got loads of second hand goodies! I am planning to do charity shop hall. I think a lot of bloggers should pay few good visits in there as I found some amazing stuff, one of them is retro skirt witch will definitely will be on my blog soon.

The Casual Summer Look

Hello, this look has been sitting on my desktop for a while which I can't really make any excuse why it's been there but never mind, here it is. I could probably say one of the classic casual looks is blue jeans white t. And that's exactly what I was going for. I just spiced it up a little :) ripped blue jeans and interesting sleeve white top which in fact was present from my boyfriend. I have to say he knows me well:) very proud of him as at the moment it's one of my favorite tops. And my black back pack goes with everything it's definitely everyday essential.

I have some good news to announce: I am going to be an aunt at the end of the month (or could be beginning of September) which I am very exited about! I have been shopping for that baby like for my own. My sister is very picky (let's hope she doesn't read this :)) So I have to be very selective in what I get for her baby. So I put a little gift guide together from Uncommon Goods. The company is great and I love what they do. Not many companies can say that they use suppliers who recycle or hand make their items and use organic materials. You can even find out who the crafter is! As I worked before for a big retail company and sustainability is not a high priority for them. I know most big retailers are about making money and not really caring for their staff or the environment but Uncommon Goods is a whole new story :) Which is fantastic I think! Anyway I should go back to the baby gift guide;  I made a little collage from the items I love. I think I've got a great selection of items as who doesn't love mermaid or Pocahontas little boots? And these little baby knee protectors are so practical and cute! To be honest I could do with a mermaid tail like this instead of the throw once the autumn arrives.

I thought it would be good for me to do a Gifts For Men as well. As I think it can be very difficult sometimes to find something interesting on a special occasion! Me and my boyfriend had 9 year anniversary last June so next one will be 10!!!  So for sure I am already shopping around for something very special doesn't have to be big as we going to go somewhere nice but I still need something for sure! I think making a collage is great, it just gives a bunches of ideas. Its always good to know what they like as well, if they are into tasting drinks or sports or both. My boyfriend is into photography so  this pinhole camera which has to be constructed would keep him very busy for sure! I think it is definitely on the shopping list! Oh and if it works I could do some fun blog pictures - that would be amazing!!! Cute animal socks if they love animals is always a good idea and keeping boyfriends fresh and smelling nice always helps :)

Inspirations For Three Special Occasions

And I think I should do a third gift guide as 3 is the lucky number :). Next May I am going to a big wedding and I am supposed to say a speech in front of  120 people... ohhh I don't know about that but we will see haha :D Maybe it will happen but maybe not :) (I hope they won't read this blog post either). Anyway, Personalized Wedding Gifts collage gives some good ideas to help me stay inspired! Popcorn (of course to go with some other presents) is great present for couples who like to stay in and watch lots of movies and the paper could be cutely personalized for example: for many cosey evenings spent together or something like that. But of course you have to be in a certain relationship to give couple popcorn as a present :) A lot of couples these days have present lists or asks for money to contribute to their honeymoon but something a little extra special and personalized would surprise them and make it more special as it shows how much you know them and how much though you put in their special day.

Summer Is For Dresses

Summer is wonderful (I am thinking of a song sounding something like that). I always feel like summer is the time for new adventures and activities or just lazing about by the beach or the lake. It always feels like endless possibilities and new beginnings in September. Maybe I am being sentimental just because I am going on holiday and after that I start a new job. YEY! well done me! I am quite looking forward to start working for a charity! I bought homeless women lots of sausage rolls the other day and felt like I did a good deed. Hopefully the job will feel the same!

Anyway, let's get back to the post theme! I just get carried away sometimes :) OOTD: I love wearing dresses in summer, especially when the summer days are so nice; it makes me feel feminine and it's so comfortable. I kind of paired it in shade of black which I think went down very well. I got this back pack quite recently and I am in love. It's so comfy, I don't know where was I before? :D You will probably get bombarded with pics of the back pack haha :) and I think I will get some more :)

Flavor that Sings

Hello as I haven't written a blog post in a while I think it is nice to come back with a delicious post into the blogging world! My routine has changed a lot as half a year ago I changed my job and as you all know something like that puts you straight out of balance. Just only now I started feeling that everything is settling which is definitely a nice feeling. Anyway I am very exited that I got invited to Clippers Tea Lounge in London which I have attended. My Illustrator friend INKBERRYPRINT who meant to come with me had to cancel the last minute so my poor boyfriend felt so bad for me and came along as he would of prefer coming to the beer tasting haha :) Anyway in the end we enjoyed it very much!
I came in and kept on saying wow as the venue was so pretty and there was so much work put in to organisation, something like that even for a couple of hours. Food, as you can see in the pictures, looked so delicious so everyone was just making sure to snap loads of pics before we all ate anything. which I thought was very encouraging from the Clippers Team. Evening was very enjoyable we got to know about the science side of taste, aroma and flavor. Definitely left London more educated on the subject. And the last but not least we had a live band to finish a very pretty evening which I danced to. Not many of us did, I think a few tequila shots would of helped to loosen up the audience:)
