3 Essential Oils Worth to Have By Hand This Autumn

Hello lovelies! As it's getting darker and cooler it's always nice to be prepared for whatever is coming. I have a bit of a collection of essential oils at home since I did my aromatherapy course. Actually, I love all oils and essential oils they all have something very good and beneficial. But prices vary and some are easier to get than others. It all depends on the source plant, how much of the plant you need to squeeze oil out of it and how easy to grow it is; the more difficult ones are on the more expensive end. Every oil and essential oil varies from different makers.

There are so many different ways of using essential oils. For example you can put a drop on your liquid soap every time you wash your hands or put a drop or two in your shampoo or shower gel (a drop or two is enough). Or you can use it in oil burners or put some drops on a pillow before you go to sleep (use only calming and relaxing essential oils for night as you don't want to be awake all night long :))

So this is my TOP 3 essential oils for this fall.

1.Cinnamon Essential Oil. I just love the smell of cinnamon essential oil for this time of year it kind of have Christmas feel for all of us (most candles use cinnamon  fragrance oils it has nothing to do with the real thing essential oil). I would only use cinnamon oil in the first part of the day because it's uplifting and stimulating, it also has loads of other benefits for instance helping with depression and feeling sad which can happen when the days are shorter and darker. I put this link here so you can read a lot more about it.

2.Tea Tree Essential Oil. It's one of my all time favorite. Scent of a tree tea essential oil might not be for everyone's liking, however I like to add some sweet scent to soften it up and then I don't mind it as it becomes not so sharp. Properties are amazing, it treats loads of stuff. Its antibacterial and anti fungal, it's good for loads of skin infections, can help fighting cold especially this time of year than everyone around is getting ill. Tea tree Essential oil can be used for cleaning, it can be used in burners to kill germs in the air than someone's ill at home. I just love it, it is my number one protection for winter. You can read more about it here it's a good and informative link which I sometimes look at for inspiration.
3 Essential Oils Worth to Have By Hand This Autumn

3.Roman Camomile Essential Oil. I chose this one especially for autumn. I love the gentle scent of it, it's calming and relaxing properties are amazing for the second part of the day to relax and have a good night's sleep. It is also ant-inflammatory and anti-bacterial as well. Camomile is always good to have by hand as dry flowers for the bath to relax, sooth and smooth the skin or as a tea or essential oil. Basically it's great and I love it! I put more in depth link to have a look here.

3 Essential Oils Worth to Have By Hand This Autumn

I choose these 3 different essential oils to help to get a smoother transition from the brighter days to the darker because now it's getting dark so early! I use these essential oils to get through the day and nurture my health, my body, and my soul and protect from bugs which are circulating at this time of year.

I hope you enjoyed my little post :) Make sure you use essential oils with sense and it's worth looking into it in more depth and do your own research ;) If you have a top 3 of your write it down in your comments - I will be interesting to have a look :)

I hope everyone had good Christmas, I certainly did. I know Christmas can be stressful for many people. It shouldn't be but it is. For some people it can be stressful to put that picture perfect Christmas together, for some it can be because they are away from their families or it can be lots and lots of reasons. For me Christmas time is a reflective time. I tried not to commercialize it. I wanted it to be relaxing and stress free, more spiritual with a sense of inner joy.

I recently blogged about some 3 essential oils (you can find my blog post here). But today I would like to write about a neat pocket sized aromatherapy de-stress roller ball. Its a cute little thing I have to say. It's already diluted in oils and can be used straight on the skin. Roller blend is wonderful, it contains geranium essential oil which is good for relieving stress, improving circulation. It contains nutmeg essential oil which is amazing for menstrual cramps and helps to fight cold symptoms and its known to be a natural pain reliever. Basically this little roller is amazing!

Aromatherapy Roller

Even though this is a de-stress roller ball in my opinion it has more to offer. I have been using it to help with my cold symptoms and I have been using it on my feet after the foot bath as it is nice and soothing plus its very nice to inhale it after a relaxing procedure. There are loads of different rollers with different essential oils so when you are looking to get one my only advise would be go for a completely natural one :) This little roller can be used anywhere, it smells good and it is tiny so can be carried in a pocket with you and be used in a time of need.

Aromatherapy Roller

I might be doing another post for New Years tomorrow but no promises :) Either way I am wishing you all the best. Keep calm, relax and all your dreams will come true!

Happy New Year!

Cosy Winter
I chose this title 'Cosy Winter' as I am all about cosy at this time of year. Cosy home, cosy clothing, relaxing and having a slow pace of my own. I have had lots of changes in 2016, starting with one main one being that I finally changed my job after being in my old job over 6 years! And that's a long time let me tell you that :) I had lots of little changes throughout the year and I can see lots of my friends having big life changes this year. So now as we are approaching the end of 2016 I am in a reflective mood and looking where to go next. And the most bugging question is: how do I move forward in 2017. Making my self cosy with a cup of hot chocolate and nicely wrapped  up in a cosy home I feel a sense of fulfilment, even though I have many goals but I am looking forward to experiencing the journey. This year I moved away from the commercial X-mas and am moving towards Christmas with joy and family around.

I recently started wanting to get two pet rabbits so I got myself a rabbit from The Star and Heart Studio to keep me going until I get room for the real thing. As having a pet is a very responsible business as pets are for life not just for Christmas. Especially when rabbits live for about 12 years so it's long term commitment which I am happy to wait for!

Cosy Winter
I might write another Christmas blog post this year but if not have a very  merry Christmas! I hope we all have it full of joy and kindness and a peacefulness all around!

My New Love - Ceramics

Hello Lovelies! I am so exited to be writing this blog post today! I have collaborated with a beautiful start up ceramic shop on Etsy. It's original, it is so cute and it says all over: ME! The ceramic necklace beautifully blended in my day's look; it quite nicely goes with my blue blouse. I think its my favourite blouse at the moment!  I think the necklace gave my OOTD the finished look. I didn't feel like I needed to add  any more accessories. I like to keep things nice and simple :) For me when something is made by hand with love it always shows. It just has that nice vibe about it and I always support small makers more than big corporations, it is just a nice thing to do. I am finally getting in a festive mood after my collaboration hehe. It just gave me so much joy!

As you can see in these pictures I have a big love to plants and my modern jungle is getting bigger !

Fun with YUK FUN

Fun with YUK FUN. Hello you lovely people! I had an amazing experience with  YUK FUN creators Patrick and Lucy. They are one of my favorites of small brands they put so much love and work into a final product. Patrick is the illustrator and Lucy is the craftswoman behind YUK FUN. I had the honor to represent their new outfit collection (again:)) - shorts and cropped top. I absolutely fell in love with it once I tried it on the material fells so nice on the skin . Prints are amazing as you can see and I have to say I felt so trendy and stylish in it. And maybe its not the right thing to say but I felt like some people were checking me out hahaha :) (in a good way of course) . I feel like the illustrations represents the real life of the creators which is colorful and fun. I have visited their home once and their kitchen had loads of cool and cool little gadgets. It kind of made me feel that the clothing is very much made with LOVE.

Photoshoot of this OOTD was extremely fun and cool, you must notice how genuinely happy I was. I loved every minute of it and the burgers and milkshakes afterwards of course as well haha:D

Perfect Autumn OOTD with Barnardo's

Hello! Recently I got an e-mail asking if I would like to be a guest blogger for Barnardo's . I couldn't say no to the charity, how could I? It's exiting to get involved in communities and charities with a possibility in mind that someone's life might get better. Barnardo's is a great charity. In Brighton we have couple of stores, I visited the smaller one in the town centre. The lady who worked there, Trish, was so helpful and kind and full of chatter. She was working so hard getting ready for the new season, merchandising. She was a busy bee. I am not surprised why we left with handfuls of stuff! It is a small shop but well looked after with loads of items to take home. I even had a thought of volunteering in there myself (maybe one day ) :) I loved it that much!

In a small shop you can find it a little bit of everything for everyone! I guess good items don't always
come in quantity :)

After going through the clothing I spotted a beautiful burgundy skirt which luckily fitted me perfectly. As all the items were properly labelled it was easy to find the right size.

After a quick try on I had my perfect Autumn OOTD! My favorite outfit at the moment! Perfect colour combination, it has been a success! We spent only £13 including 3 books. Its a bargain for sure and with Trish inviting us to visit again we might just become regulars :)

Brighton Yoga Festival & You Juice

Hello! A few weeks ago I went to the Brighton Yoga Festival and I was helping out You Juice, just walking around with juice samples and chatting with people, introducing them to You Juice juice and what they do. I loved the yoga festival, it was vibrant and full of people all brought together by the same interests: health and well being . How awesome is that? Well organised event. People went from one room to the other full of chatter and laughter having a good time, juicing and eating in between.

In the meantime I got to really know You Juice better myself. They do cold pressed juices from vegetables and herbs, nothing added and nothing taken. All the goodness stays inside for 72 hours so you know you are drinking the real thing! They use local produce. And what is great about them is that they really want to make a good impact on people to feel better and be healthier - so it's a small business with a big heart! This is what business should be all about: human and nature friendly (they take back their glass bottles in exchange for stamp collection to get 10th juice on them to have the minimum impact on the environment). It's great its eco friendly and I wish more businesses would be like that! Juices taste great, all very easy on digestion. Just yumm and it is good for all of us!

You Juice have two shops in Brighton and I will put a link to their website HERE. If you are visiting Brighton you should definitely pay them a visit.

Hello! So it's Saturday again, yey! Witch is very exiting! I have been meaning to write about my personal relationship with blogging. So it has been coming for sometime it's just been sitting in the back of my head ripening and waiting to come out. I hope you share what you have thought on this post, I would definitely like to know what is your relationship with your blog.

Love and Hate relationship with blogging

Inspiration

Personally for me blogging has an equal amount of plusses and minuses. Like reading other's blogs is a plus it gets me inspired, helps me to dream what I would like to do, what would I like to eat or where I would like to go, so it's amazing. And then reading other's blogs is a minus for me as well as after I go away or go to work after I read about someone's  holiday in Bali it kind of causes a little bit of jealousy ... how lucky for him or her while I am sorting the laundry or doing washing up so it's kind of a reality check but it definitely helps to break it and set life goals or holidays for next year for sure:).

Living The Dream

Another one plus and a minus is looking at bloggers living their dream and living from what the blog provides. Hooray for them and it proves that we all can do what we want at some point in our life, whatever we want, but in the mean time it's work, work, work and blogging its just a hobby. I found this blog post from another blogger about what it means to be a full time blogger HERE. She writes that bloggers don't take holidays as holidays are the best time to get good content. Hmmmmm I don't know about that I am going on holiday soon and I am planning to just switch of my social media until I come back as I remember best summers was being away with family, away from the routine and the best part of September was to discuss those summer holidays with others (maybe that's why blogging is just a hobby for me hahaha).

Anyway,  I have been looking at some articles that suggest that media traffic slows down in summer months so why not to enjoy it? But here is an article about what to do if you still want to blog HERE.

Dragging in

I have never been so obsessed with being online like last year, it slowly reeled me in. Instagram and Pinterest are the worst hahaha. Once I start pinning something it reveals more and more beautiful and inspiring images that draw me in . You can find my Pinterest HERE. Instagram works just the same for me. Oh makes me want to do and buy so many things. In a way it's good it keeps wanting to do te best for myself; be healthier, happier, wanting to do better makeup, dress nicer. What's wrong with that right? But I caught myself thinking these girls looks so much better, healthier and happier so I start doubting myself. In a way it's good it shows there is room to improve but the negative side is that it lowers self-esteem.

But what I absolutely love about my blog is that it becomes a picture reminder for me of what I did and what I been up to in the last two years . Even its not all here but you know than I look at January 2014 my mind goes wild, it's like awwww yes I did that and after I went there even it's not all documented but my mind picks up on that small glimpses of life.

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed it :)

Hello!

This is going to be slightly different post from the ones I had before. Anyway, I think of myself as a lifestyle blogger so this practical post about healthy air will fit in fine. Blogging about healthy air is so important for me, it may even be the most important post I ever wrote! This is something I truly believe in and there is nothing not to believe here. We all know plants produce oxygen by absorbing CO2 and other air pollutions. We all know that right?! I will put little picture I found on internet. And here is the link to the web page where picture is from, it's worth looking through, it shows how we are all connected.
However, today's post is about indoor air quality and how important it is to improve it. According to NASA clean air study we should have one plant per 10 square metres. You can find link HERE to read more about it. So I live in 1 bed flat which is quite small if  I am honest, which is about 46 square meters so in this case I need about 5 plants to purify our flat. So if you have a good sized 2 bed flat or house you will probably need about 10 plants at least. I say at least because location where we live is so important. Unfortunately where I live we have a very busy road and our garden gets so dirty so quickly and it's the most dusty property I have lived in because pollution comes from outside and of course from indoors as well. You can find common indoor air pollutions HERE. So we know now that we should open windows as often as we can but for me when I open them I can smell the car fuels so it's not always possible (yes, I know we need to move when I put it this way but at the moment it is impossible for us). So I am looking into plants to help me to purify my living space. This amazing article I found is always on hand on my phone when I  am looking for inspiration. You can find this article HERE. It says that detoxing our body 70% occurs through breathing. So basically no fresh air no health. I would recommend this article for everyone it is so important HERE. I found another useful website which would help you to choose suitable plants for you HERE. Some really good air filter plants needs so little care so if you not best plant carer and don't know how to look after them you can still can find suitable plant for you which won't need a lot of care and would benefit from a little bit of watering once in a while.

At the moment for my 1 bed flat I consciously bought plants to clean the air for me. I have 8 different air purifying plants at the moment, I am planning to get some more. As I mentioned I live in a city by a busy road. However, we have a garden were we are working as well by planting tons of new plants a lot of them is ferns which purifies the air very well. I would love to get one of these meters which shows how clean is your indoor air but they are bit too expensive for me so I just have to have faith in my plants:) Some of you might think that 8 plants for 1 bed flat can be too much as for a lack of space but trust me it's doable and looks nice as well. Our flat is modern and plants in the right places looks great!

These are my 3 out of 8 plants

Healthy air - Practical post

You might say you don't live by busy road like me and you ventilate you home enough and you might have air purifier (I do too) and you don't need so many plants in your home. However, think of winter months and NASA recommending 1 house plant per 10 square meters for each home so just to be on healthy side just in case get some plants! :)

Thank you for reading! I hope I put a useful and inspiring blog post for you with lots of links. please let me know what you thought and how many plants you have :) I am looking forward to some feedback;)
